W=D²×Mesh÷2
Mesh=25.4÷(D+A)
W: the weight per square meter, kg/m²
D: the wire diameter, mm
Mesh: the number holes per inch,;
A: opening size, mm
Note: don’t need conversion unit,attrition rate:3%-5%
For example:
Produce a piece of crimped mesh
Wire diameter:4mm; opening size:30mm; width:2.0m; length:2.5m.
Weaving type :intermediate crimped
Question :what is the weight of crimped mesh ? how many kilograms of wire you need purchase ?
Answer:
1.W0=D²×M÷2=4×4×[25.4÷(30+4)] ÷2=5.97kg/m ²
W1=2×2.5×5.97kg=29.88kg
2 .Wmax= W1÷(1-3%)=29.88÷(1-3%)=30.80kg;
Wmin= W1÷(1-5%)=29.88÷(1-5%)=31.45kg
So the weight is 5.97kg/pcs
Purchase quantity:30.80-31.45kg
